Egg Nog

I picked up some today at the ole Super Walmart. I didn't know they put it out this early. All I need now is some Southern Comfort. Anyone else like this stuff?

Love it! Only time I will drink dark liquor. One of my friends and her mom get up early on the morning of their Christmas party and start making it. They apparently do quite a bit of tasting. They make it with Four Roses brandy. Don't think you can find the stuff anymore.

Maybe you should substitute Wild Irish Rose instead!

If you like SoCo, try it with some Country Time lemonade.

Whew! I don't think that would be the same. Can't stand whiskey/bourbon/mash, whatever it is. I have never liked it and probably never will. I guess it was those boilermakers I did when I was supposed to be studying at E&H. Worst hangover I've ever had.

    Re: Egg Nog

I saw some egg nog in Food City the other day and was also surprise at how early it seemed for them to be putting it out.. I always remembered it coming out around mid-November but I guess I was very wrong.

Christmas has been turned into a commercial holiday, I'm afraid.

Been that way for 50 years, expect something different.

Back to the original topic, there is nothing like an ice cold glass of egg nog. Too bad it is full of cholesterol and fat.

I try to limit myself to 1 gallon a year.
